Abstract (EN)
Social sciences is a concept with which content acquired from disciplines of social sciences are simplified and provided as a course during primary level education. The purpose of this study was to examine the reflections of the disciplines of social sciences on social science programs and course books based on these two similar concepts. The subject of the study can be considered as important since it is unique in comparison with other studies in literature, focuses on the reflections of social science disciplines which make up a major part of the social sciences content and because it is a study based on social sciences course books. Qualitative study methods were used in the study. A certain method was used within the scope of the study and the 5th, 6th, 7th grade SSCB (Social Sciences Course Books) prepared via criteria sampling method from among purposive sampling methods in accordance with 1998 SBELP, 2006 SBELP, 2018 SBELP, 2018 5th, 6th, 7th Class SBÖP and 2018 SBÖP were taken into consideration subject to the state of the determined problem. Content analysis was used in the study for data analysis. Based on the study findings, differences were observed in social science disciplines reflected in SBEL, SBÖP and SBDK with regard to years. However, there is a relational reflection issue between SBELP, SBÖP and SBDK which are the three main stages of social science disciplines in education, teaching and learning processes. Various differences and incompatibilities were observed in social science disciplines and the reflected discipline content at certain parts of the programs and course books. Moreover, social science disciplines have been reflected theoretically in social sciences content in comparison with application. According to the obtained results, social science disciplines such as "History, Geography, Philosophy, Sociology, Economics, Political Science, Law, Citizenship, Communication, Anthropology, Psychology, Social Psychology, Linguistics, Religion (Theology), Education, International Relations" have been reflected in the social science content. The social science disciplines and courses reflected in the programs were taken into consideration in different course groups subject to years. Majority of the courses that make up the social science content in SBELP have taken their content from social science disciplines. In conclusion, it was observed that social science disciplines have been reflected sufficiently in social science programs and course books but that there is relatively greater emphasis on certain disciplines.
