Abstract (EN)

In order to determine the quality and speed of the services provided in the field of social security, to ensure that services are effective and productive and at the same time to create a sustainable service understanding, it is necessary that the staff working on this area should get rid of the excessive and harmful stress. A survey is conducted to determine the main organizational stress sources of 108 personnel out of 138 personnel working in the Social Security Centers of Bitlis and Siirt, field offices of Social Security Organization which is the main umbrella organization of employees working in the field of social security. As a result of this study, while the main causes of organizational stress of the surveyed personnel are wage inadequacy and excessive work load on factor basis. Frequent changes in the labor legislation, complicacy of the labor legislation, insufficiency and less chance of promotion are other factors. While no significant difference is found between the demographic characteristics such as gender, marital status, education level and duration of service and felt stress, significant relationship is found between variables of age and willingly chose their profession and felt stress and then various suggestions are made.
