Abstract (EN)
Social media platforms have become a significant tool for maintaining communications, not only for individuals, but also for corporations. Businesses, organizations and institutions began using social media in order to establish efficient communications with their target clients. Statistics show us that the percentage of corporate social media usage increases every coming year. However, what is more important than the amount of corporates using social media platforms is the way these platforms are managed by them. In order to maintain efficient use of social media, it is crucial that corporates follow appropriate ways to feed their corporate images in right ways. This research is done to bring a perspective on how big companies manage their identity in social media. For this purpose, a sample received from Turkey's largest 500 companies, stated by Fortune in 2013, and their Facebook accounts was evaluated by content analysis method.
