Özet (EN)

A consumption style in which sustainable products or services that do not harm the nature or are thought to be at a minimum level are consciously preferred is called "Social Responsible Consumption Behavior". In this context, in this study, the effects of Social Capital, which consists of interpersonal trust-based relationships and expresses interactions whose source is essentially participation, and Human Capital, which expresses all the qualities that people can display in the context of productivity, such as knowledge and skills, on socially responsible consumption behavior were investigated. In the literature, the effects of social capital and human capital on sustainable development have been investigated separately, but their relationship together has not been examined. This study differs from others in that it investigates the effect together. In order to measure socially responsible consumption behavior (SSTB), social capital (SS) and human capital (BS), a questionnaire was prepared for the previously validated socially responsible consumption scale (SSTBS), social capital scale (SSS) and human capital scale (BSS). forms were prepared and the prepared surveys were applied digitally via Google form. 506 people over the age of 18 living in Ankara constituted the main population of the study and data were collected. For the applicability of the survey questions, necessary permissions were obtained from Çankırı Karatekin University ethics committee and preliminary tests were conducted. Analysis of the study data was carried out in the SPSS-21 program. The demographic characteristics of the people participating in the survey were described, and then reliability tests were conducted for the scales. It was determined that the alpha value remained within safe limits in all scales. The correlation analysis of the relationship levels of the variables with each other was analyzed and it was determined that all variables were significantly related to each other. Then, how socially responsible consumption behavior is affected by social capital and human capital was examined with a simple regression model, and it was investigated whether socially responsible consumption behavior differs in categories such as education and gender. According to the results obtained, it was seen that social capital positively affects socially responsible consumption. Human capital also positively affected socially responsible consumption behavior in the simple regression test. Then, the combined effect of SSS and BSS was examined with multiple regression. In the multiple regression, it was found that while the SSTSS had a positive effect on the SSI sub-dimensions of employee ability, creativity and leadership, it had a negative effect on employee satisfaction and motivation. No difference was observed in terms of socially responsible consumption behavior in categories such as gender, education and income.
