Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between perception of social responsibility practices with business performance with respect to SMEs which operates in Duzce. The sub-goal of this study is to identify the perceptions of social responsibility of enterprises. In this context, 190 enterprises which have characteristics of SMEs were included in research. Quantitative research method is preferred and data obtained via survey technique. Surveys are distributed to SMEs and one top manager from all of the businesses participated the research. According to the results, participants have high level of perception related to dimensions of social responsibility and business performance. Also, it is revealed that there are positive and significant correlations between variables. Besides, enterprise managers should consider social responsibility practices and need to increase their investments in this direction for a successful performance appraisal.
