Abstract (EN)
Death is a phenomenon that has been studied by many thinkers and various disciplines. The phenomenon of death involves different meanings according to the social and cultural structure and / or structures. For instance, while traditional societies are intimate with 'death'; in modern society the death has been evaluated one of the most important factors of fear and it has been postponed. In the postmodern era, the death within the social structure has been evaluated as a matter to overcome. For this purpose, in this era the 'death' in the formation of consumer body has been an important factor. In this period, to reach immortality and to delay aging the fields as health, nutrition and aesthetics come into prominence. The phenomenon of death which gains different meanings according to the historical process of change within society, also have different meanings according to the thinkers that make evaluations about this phenomenon. Mevlana is one of the tinkers that make assessments about death and give directions to the society about those assessments. At the same time, Mevlana's approach about the phenomenon of death constitutes the theme of this study. The death according to Mevlana is the end of missing and the moment of beginning to coming together. The phenomenon of death is the notion that modern times empty but Mevalana approached with a sense of positive charge. For Mevlana, "death" is not non-existence, exhaustion and ending; conversely in this world it is the end of imprisonment of soul to the body and attains freedom. From this point Mevlana's viewpoint ages beyond to illuminate today's.
