Abstract (EN)

The main purpose of this study named ?Soviet Atheism and Influences in Central Asia (1917-1939)? is to acquire data linked to behaviors and actions, inherited from the history as taking into consideration in a negative or positive way, of Central Asia states, emerged as a new power and regional factor within the process started 1990?s. The main thesis regarding with this purpose is: the domestic and foreign political actions adopted and implemented by today?s Central Asia states are reflections, which they confronted during the history because of the internal and external causes. Supporting cases of this thesis are social, political and economical engineering studies, which they were exposed especially in the Soviet Union era. In terms of this propose and thesis, effects on the Central Asia states, which were done by Soviet Union between the period of 1917-1939 against the religion and for (scientific) atheism were stated. In this regard, in the first section of the study, (scientific) atheism, which was supported by Soviet Union in order to struggle religion and provide an alternative world aspect for the ideological purposes of Soviet regime, has examined as a philosophical and theorical concept. In addition, the effect of the historical continuity was underlined as given prominence the attitudes and methods explained by Tsarist Russia and Soviets against Central Asia and religion in this historical process. On the other hand, in the second section of the study, effects and reflections of anti-religious and atheism policies of the Soviet Union in Central Asia which of all these historical, philosophical and ideological, were researched.While all these are being done, using the deductive method, the specific reflections and effects on Central Asia society of the Soviet anti-religious policies and fundamentalist and scientific atheist attitude between the years of 1937-39 are presented. Furthermore, while using this method, the dominant atmosphere of this era are tried to demonstrate, in particular using the statistical and concrete datas got from this time process.Having examined all these factors mentioned above it can be concluded that this study collected data acquired from within the scope of this method. Findings are the main facts should be taken into consideration in terms of the domestic and foreign structures of the Central Asia states which emerged after the collapse of the Soviet Union and to understand behaviors and attitudes and to estimate about the future attitudes and behaviors.
