Abstract (EN)
The main purpose of this study is to reveal the religious life in Azerbaijan during the Soviet Union in 1920-1950 with basic dynamics and to examine its reflections to the present day from a psychological point of view. In the historical context, detailed information was given about the religious life of Azerbaijan from the period of Tsarist Russia to the first quarter of the Soviet Union and the environment in the religious life. It was observed that the policies carried out under the guidance of Stalin had serious effects on the people in the period under review. As a result, it was concluded that the religious life of the period was affected by the political attitude and there were significant changes in the society.
