Abstract (EN)

Mankind has always sought ways to increase its power and performance in its activities. This is also true for sports. From the past to the present, athletes have tried to increase their performance through diet and training as well as by consuming natural or unnatural substances. Over time, the concept of doping has emerged as some substances and methods used started creating health and ethical problems. In order to control doping and the behavior of the athletes before, during and after a competition, it was necessary to legislate the sports law. The sporting activities of the athletes and the coaches are affected directly by; the decisions of CAS, which are the decisions of the arbitration board, and the Arbitration Board of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and generally indirectly related to the life of the athlete and trainer after the violation of anti-doping rules, the Supreme Court of Appeals, the Regional Court of Justice; Council of State, Regional Administrative Court; Decisions of the Constitutional Court. In this study, the disputes arising due to the use of doping and the current issues in sports law are discussed. Penalties to athletes should also take into account the athlete's age and professional achievements, and legal regulations should discourage the use of doping by the athlete.
