Investigation of the effect of mobbi̇ng exposure levels on organizational commitment levels of teachers at sport high schools

This research was prepared to determine the effect of teachers working in sports high schools on the level of organizational commitment of mobbing exposure. The sample group of the research consists of 101 teachers working in sports high schools in Elazig, Diyarbakır, Muş, Bitlis, Siirt, Van and Tunceli provinces in the 2019-2020 academic year. The "Mobbing Scale for Teachers" and "Organizational Commitment to the Research Group" Scale was applied. SPSS 22.0 package program was used in the analysis of the data. Normality analysis was applied to the distribution of the data set in the study, and non-parametric tests, Mann Whitney U test and Kruskal Wallis H test were used. Spearman Correlation analysis was used to examine the relationship between the two scale scores. In this study, a significant difference was found between the gender variable and educational status variable and the "Direct Insults towards People" sub-dimension of Teachers' Intimidation Scale. In the "Identification and Internalization" sub-dimensions of the Gender variable and the Organizational Commitment Scale, there were significant differences between the staff status variable and the "Internalization" sub-dimension of the Organizational Commitment Scale and the "Identification, Internalization and Cohesion" sub-dimensions of the Organizational Commitment Scale. . In the correlation analysis, it was observed that identification and compliance, which is one of the sub-dimensions of the Organizational Commitment Scale, has a weak negative and statistically significant relationship between the sub-dimension of the Teachers' Intimidation Scale and the sub-dimension of the attacks. Prevention of professional practices, which is a sub-dimension of the Organizational Commitment Scale, and the sub-dimension of the Organizational Commitment Scale, which is a sub-dimension of the Organizational Commitment Scale and that there is a weakly positive and statistically significant relationship between internalization, which is a sub-dimension of the Organizational Commitment Scale, It has been observed that there is a moderately positive and statistically significant relationship with the subscale. The sub-dimension of Organizational Commitment Scale, which is the sub-dimension of the Organizational Commitment Scale, is the sub-dimension of the Teachers' Intimidation Scale, which is the sub-dimension of the Organizational Commitment Scale. It was observed that there was a weakly positive and statistically significant relationship between the size and the dimensions. In the regression analysis, it was determined that the total score of the Mobbing Scale for Teachers was statistically significant at the Organizational Commitment Scale. It was concluded that the Organizational Commitment Scale adjustment subscale score predicted the total score of the Intimidation Scale for Teachers at a statistically significant level. As a result, it was observed in the study that female teachers and undergraduate graduate teachers had higher levels of perception of mobbing, male teachers showed higher level of organizational commitment, and the organizational commitment of teachers who worked in the institution for a longer period of time was stronger.
