Abstract (EN)

It has been quite fast raised Internet using areas with fast growing usage of Internet. Marketing becomes first of those areas. Sports marketing subject exists especially in last fifteen years in Turkey. A number of target market of sports marketers is Internet users in the same time. Therefore Internet covers an important place on sports marketing.The purpose of this study was to determine the importance of Internet in sports marketing and find out sport clubs marketing strategies via Internet web sites. Analytic Hierarchy Method was used to evaluate marketing activities of Turkish Football Super League clubs? on their official web-sites. Furthermore, as a fast growing area, Internet is important for sport clubs at their marketing activities. Therefore we tried to attract attention of sport clubs on marketing endeavor via network and to notice this situation on marketing activities.As a result, it was firstly determined that clubs have to give a place the news on their Web sites and secondly the easy usage of Web sites? is too important to be effective when sport clubs are selling the merchandise via Internet. Furthermore, Fenerbahce, Galatasaray, Besiktas and Trabzonspor which are known as ?four big? in the Turkish Football Super League, became the first four rank during the evaluation of Web sites? efficiency. In the same way, the team?s rank in the decision matrix was explained according to news as the most important criterion.As a conclusion, we tried to state importance of Internet in marketing area with this study.
