Evaluation of service quality in sport tourism: A research on football camps in Antalya

The purpose of this study is to determine the level of satisfaction from the service quality of the hotels where foreign Professional Football Clubs have stayed and the football facilities of these hotels and to compare the data by different varietions. 124 volunteer attendants from several countries who came to Antalya for football camps helped the study. A survey of 2 factor structure with 33 questions to evaluate both ? Standard Tourism Service Quality of the Hotel? and ? Football Tourism Service Quality of the Hotel ?, which is developed by the researcher, applied to the attendants. Attendants are requested to answer as ?I totally disagree? (1) or ?I totally agree? (6) as in a Likert Type of survey.Additionally , due to obtain Demographic Data, a 6 question form of Demographic Data to be filled is requested from the attendants. In the Statistical Analysis section, to test the confidentiality level of the survey while applying the principal component factoring, Cronbach Alpha internal consistence is calculated to validate the structure of the survey. And, frequency, percentage and chi-square analysis applied to compare the outcome by the attendants? demographic variables .Analysis results showed that the more experienced administrators among the attendants are more satisfied by the ? Football Tourism Service Quality of the Hotel ?.According to the results of chi-square analysis, it is seen that the number of camp attendance in Turkey by the administrators , was effective on both factors. Analysis were not made by the other demographic variables of the attendants because necessary statistical conditions could not be obtained.
