In today's demanding work environments, the intensity of professional responsibilities has a significant impact on individuals' personal lives. Managers working particularly in the service sector may experience difficulties in maintaining a balance between work and private life due to workload, responsibilities and time pressure. At this point, the concepts of work–life balance and job satisfaction play a critical role in enabling employees to sustain their professional and personal roles in harmony. Failure to achieve this balance may negatively affect employees' psychological and physical well-being, potentially leading to burnout, stress and loss of motivation. Work–life balance is closely related to job satisfaction, which is defined as the level of fulfillment, happiness and overall contentment individuals derive from their work. Job satisfaction is considered one of the fundamental factors directly influencing organizational success. Particularly in the field of sports management, individuals in managerial positions may be exposed to high levels of work pressure due to institutional expectations and social responsibilities. This situation highlights the necessity of examining the relationship between work–life balance and job satisfaction among sports managers.
