Sports management department students' knowledge of legal and sports law course level and legal consciousness

The research was conducted in the survey screening model and the aim was to determine the knowledge and consciousness of the students in the sports management department. The universe of the study was Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University, School of Physical Education and Sports, Akdeniz University, Faculty of Sport Sciences, Selçuk University, Faculty of Sport Sciences and Balıkesir University, School of Physical Education and Sports, Sport Management and the sample group consisted of 456 students who volunteered to participate voluntarily from the universe. Data were collected by survey method. Introduction to the law and sports law course contents and the aims to be gained by the students were examined and question proposals were prepared. The validity and reliability of the questionnaire and the validity and scope validity of the developed questionnaire and the validity and reliability of the test and retest method were obtained. The Cronbach olaraks Alpha reliability coefficient was found to be 0.90. This coefficient is a very high coefficient compared to scientists. The statistical data were analyzed by using SPSS 20.0 program, frequency (%), Crosstabs and Chi-Square (X2), Independent Samples T-Test and Correlations tests were performed to determine the differences between the variables. As a result of the research; that the participants have learned and learned the legal terms and rules in the medium level at the intermediate level and they know the knowledge and terms related to sports law in general at intermediate level, but the male participants concentrate on the yes option in some information according to women; we can say that there is a linear parallelism between law and sports law and general law consciousness.
