Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to clarify the relationship between the anger and aggression levels of athletes, referees and coaches interested in individual and team sports in the Eastern Anatolia region in the light of scientific data. With this aim, it is thought and aimed that the study will contribute to the field of mental health and education. The research aimed to reach licensed individual, team athletes, referees and coaches over the age of 18 in 14 provinces in the Eastern Anatolia Region in 2022-2023. Data was collected from 1968 athletes, referees and coaches in total. In the research, the current situation was tried to be revealed by using the relational screening model. For these purposes, the Trait Anger-Anger Style Scale (SS-ATS) and the Buss-Perry Aggression Scale (BPSS) scales were applied to licensed individual and team athletes, referees and coaches over the age of 18 in 14 provinces in the Eastern Anatolia Region in 2022-2023. SPSS 25.0 package program was used to analyze the collected data. Validity and reliability analyzes were applied to the data collection tool. Frequency analyses, difference tests and correlation analyzes were performed to analyze the research data. As a result of this study; Significant differences were detected between various variables (gender, age, education level, income level, sport branch, working year, role in sports life) of licensed individual and team athletes, referees and coaches in the Eastern Anatolia Region. In addition, all tested research hypotheses were accepted; It was concluded that there was a significant positive relationship between anger and aggression of athletes, referees and coache
