Abstract (EN)
Exercise has positive effect on human health so sport is important for our daily life. According to studying about moking exercise; exercise has positive effect on cardiovasculer system, respiratory system and muscles. In this study, it was aimed to investigate whether there is a difference between the body composition, blood pressure-pulse values and some pulmonary parameters (VC, FVC, FEV1 and PEF) of individuals who have a sedentary lifetime in the same age group as elite athletes with branch athletics. In our study mean age of students of Adnan Menderes University was 21,53 ± 1,98, the mean height was 176,57 ± 6,59, the mean weight was 68,64 ± 6,13 and the mean age was 30 males And the mean age was 20.77 ± 1.68, the mean height was 165.93 ± 5.21, the mean weight was 54.55 ± 6.89 and 30 women were total 60 volunteers. First of all, body composition measurement was realised Body Mass Weight (BCM), Body Fat Weight (BFM), Body Mineral Content (BMC), Body Mass Index (BMI), Basal Metabolism Ratio (BMR), Body Fat Ratio (PBF), Skeletal Muscle Weight (SMM), Total Body Water (TBW), Body Fat Rate (BFR) were calsulated with BIA 720S body analysis engine. The effects of exercise on the individuals were investigated, and the differences between the groups were compared with the body composition measurement method. Cardiopulmonary function tests were then measured with a VIASYS jaeger (carefusion) spirometer and the values of the first forced expiratory volume (FEV1), forced vital capacity (FVC), flow rate at the peak of expiration (PEF) and vital capacity (VC) parameters were evaluated. Finally, heart rate and blood pressure (systolic and diastolic pressure) values were measured using an Omron RS3 device. As a result of our study, significant differences were found in some measurement parameters in terms of body composition and cardiopulmonary function test values among the groups. Our work may be a guide for positive effects of body weight on body composition, respiratory functions, pulse and blood pressure. Key words: Sports, Body Composition, Bia, Cardiopulmonary Function Test
