Abstract (EN)
It is an accepted fact that the scientific developments brought by the 19th century were reflected in all areas of art. These developments had many effects on the art of theater, and especially the art of acting was the most important pillar on which scientific developments were reflected. The person who designed acting on scientific foundations and developed the first theory and application suggestions for acting was Konstantin Stanislavsky. The 'Physical Actions Method' that Stanislavsky put forward became a resource for the practitioners who came after him. This method, also called the system, is being addressed by many practitioners and the layers of the method are being tried to be explained. The question of how much the theoretical explanations and practical applications made within the field of theatre are sufficient to understand the system has come to mind: Is it possible to explain an acting system created by science with science itself? Based on this question, the aim of the study was determined as the explanation of Stanislavsky's Method of Physical Actions with Isaac Newton's laws of motion. In the study where the qualitative research model was used, a literature review was conducted. As a data collection tool, document review was conducted as one of the data collection methods in qualitative research, and the analysis of the data was organized as descriptive analysis from the qualitative data analysis techniques. Stanislavsky's 'Method of Physical Actions' and 'Newton's Laws of Motion' were selected as the universe and sample.
