Abstract (EN)

In this study, crosslinked poly(St-co-KMS) mikropheres were synthesized with styrene and chloromethylstyrene monomers in the presence of AIBN by free-radical suspension polymerization. Poly(St-co-KMS) mikropheres were modified with diethanolamine, ethylendiamine, bromoacetyl bromide and D(+)-Glucono-1,5-lactone. Poly(St-co-KMS) mikropheres and modified mikropheres were characterized by FT-IR. In addition dye uptake properties of mikropheres were investigated.Poly(St-co-KMS) copolymers that have different ratio of 4-vinylbenzyl chloride (p-chloromethylstyrene) were synthesized with styrene and chloromethylstyrene monomers in the presence of AIBN by free-radical mass polymerization. Poly(St-co-KMS) copolymers were modified with diethanolamine, ethylendiamine, thionyl chloride and D(+)-Glucono-1,5-lactone. Polymers prepared were characterized by FT-IR and 1H-NMR techniques.Dielectric properties of all the polymers were measured at different frequencies by impedance analyzer.Termal measurements of all the polymers were carried out by termogravimetric analysis (TGA).Keywords: Styrene , chloromethylstyrene, suspension polymerization, modification,adsorption, dielectric properties
