The evaluation of nanotechnology in terms of strategic technology management and a practice

Nanotechnology, which has been explained for second part of the last century, was a subject of many investigations especially in laboratory area. Since the starting of the 21th Century, ?the nanotechnology commercialization? consept is added to varied areas of its application, too. After this commercializing, it is surely expected that the nanotechnology will take place of present manufacturing processes. For this reason, it is quiet strategic decision that enterprises use this technology in their manufacturing processes. In this study, it is explained how nanotechnology is of great importance in the nowadays enterprises and why enterprises need to take notice of importance for this technology over their technology management.
