Özet (EN)
This study was aimed to evaluation the correlation between some gene polymorphism and breast cancer patients with hepatitis B. This study included a total of (80) women with breast cancer. The patients' ages ranged from 20 to 60. Name, age, sex, marriage, domicile, history of chronic diseases, history of drug intake, smoking history, and kind of operation were all gathered from each patient's case information sheet. Between April to July 2022, these patients were admitted to Hospitals in Baghdad, Iraq (2022). In addition, 40 healthy people were included as a control group in this investigation The current findings showed that the total number surveyed were 120, 39 (48.75%) of them were hepatitis C positive, 21 (26.25%) patients were hepatitis B positive. The current study direct relationship between the age of breast cancer patients and the prevalence of hepatitis C, where 18 (22.5%) patients out of 39 of age between 20-30 year were positive for hepatitis C, while 11 (13.75%) patients out of 21 of age between 20-30 year were positive for hepatitis B. liver enzymes activity in of breast cancer patients and breast cancer with hepatitis patients, where ALT, AST and ALP concentrations demonstrated significant (P <0.05) elevated in group B and C compared to control group. About bio-molecular study, TGF-β (+869 C/T) genotype (CT) had the highest frequency of 25 (41.7%) in patients versus a lower frequency through control group 6 (20%), whereas genotype (CC) had the frequency of 24 (40%) in patients compared to the highest frequency of 20 (66.7%) in the healthy control group. In addition, genotype (TT) was absent in 11 (18.3%) in patients compared to 4 (13.3%) in the healthy control group. For IFN-γ (+874 A/T) PCR optimization, the genotype (AT) had the highest frequency of 21 (35%) in patients versus a lower frequency through control group 6 (20%), whereas genotype (AA) had the frequency of 19 (31.7%) in patients compared to the highest frequency of 20 (66.7%) in the healthy control group. In addition, genotype (TT) was absent in 20 (33.3%) in patients compared to 4 (13.3%) in the healthy control group
