Özet (EN)

Nowadays, thiosemicarbazone derivatives are one of the most used compounds in organic synthesis in order to being good chelating agents in design of the anticancer drugs. In result of article researches about this subject, thiosemicarbazones derivates and their transition metal complexes were possessed important biological activity such as antiviral, antineoplastic, antimalarial, antifungal and antimicrobial, so that ıt is interested in many research groups. This work consists of two parts in order to find anticancer agents as more less toxic and high efficiency in trems of activity. In the first part, isothiocyanates (1.6) which were reacted with substitue aniline derivatives and thiophosgene, were treated with hydrazine hydrate in order to obtain N-phenylhyhidrazinecarbothioamide (2.7) These compounds reacted with substituted bearing thiophene ring aldehydes (2-thiophene carboxaldehyde, 5-chloro-2-thiophene carboxaldehyde, 5-phenyl-2-thiophene carboxaldehyde, 5-nitro-2-thiophene carboxaldehyde) in methanol and substituted thiosemicarbazone derivatives were synthesized (3a -d, 8a-d). In the second part, these ligands were treated with K2PtCl4 and K2PdCl4 in presence of water/ethyl alcohol. Thus their Pt (II) (4a-d, 9a) and Pd (II) (5a-d, 10a) metal complexes were obtained. All reactions was monitored by Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC) solvents and crude product purified by crystalization from appropriate. The structures of synthesized compounds were identified by IR, 13C NMR, ¹H NMR, mass spectroscopy, and elemental analysis (C, H, N, S).Key Words: Thiosemicarbazones, Metal complex, Thiophene, Biological activity
