Abstract (EN)

In this study, MOBESE?s efficiency(mobile electronic system integration) which was launched on 17th of June in 2005, one of the precautions taken against preventing crime in capital cities and public opinion about this implementation in Bakırköy are examined.Paralel to urbanization process, the adaptation of the values and norms peculiar to urban and the deficienciesin integrating urban lead individuals to deviant bahaviours and urge them to crime and criminal behaviour. In addition to problems emerging from urban life; several factors like migration, education, social and physical environmentare among the ones which increases crime.In our study, views about crime and delinquency in literature emerging from urbanization are examined as well as the economic resources, efficiency, cost, elements, and profits in various titles.Turkish National Police?s MOBESE in which it uses geographic information systems to decrease the crime in adapting the fast change and transformation. In this aspect, the field research performed in Liberty Squareto examine the perception of the MOBESE Project, launched in Bakırköy among individuals.
