Abstract (EN)
The aim of this research is to examine the academic writer's block from different perspectives of Sudanese students studying at the higher education level in Turkey. The answers to the main and sub-problems of the research were sought with the descriptive survey method. 190 Sudanese students studying at different levels and departments participated in the research. The "Academic Writing Stuck" scale (AYTÖ) developed by Gülay (2019) was used as a data collection tool in the research. In the research, analyses were made according to the quantitative paradigm. SPSS 27 package program was used for analysis. According to the results obtained from the research, it was seen that there was no statistically significant difference in terms of academic writer's block average according to gender, age, and education level of parents. However, it was observed that there was a statistically significant difference between the academic writing block mean scores of the students according to the level of education and whether they received academic writing education or not. Accordingly, as the level of education increases for foreign students, academic writing block decreases. In addition, it was determined that the students who received academic writing training had a lower average academic writer's block than the students who did not.
