The Divançe of Şuhudi (examination-text)

This study comprises of the life, the literary personality and the translation ofdivan of Divan poet Şuhûdû whom we estimete that he lived in 16th century in ourstudy, we benefited from the copy of number 510 which we obtained from section ofwork of written documents in Yapı Kredi Publications Sermet Çifter Searching Library.We weren?t able to find any other copy of this work.The poet wrote poems which we can name as master-work considering both hisusing his language and the way of using the literary arts, he wrote poems which were asgood as the ones of big poets.Şuhûdû, used his mutasavvıf personality in some of his poems and in some of hisother poems he accepted an way of discourse. His poems reflect the general features ofDivan poetry from the point of both language and style and literaty arts.Key Words: Divan Poetry, Divançe of Şuhûdû, Şuhûdû.
