Abstract (EN)

The word "mecmu'a"( journal), that comes from an Arabic root "cem' " was used for verse or prose writing parts selected from religious or secular issues. In the Tanzimat period, that word was used a meaning of collected poems. Collected poems were not created within the framework of a specific rule but they were formed in accordance with the pleasure and understanding of transcribers. Although some of these works were prepared with care, there are still some of collected poems prepared in a sloppy manner. In this thesis, "98a-192a"th pages of XVI. century collected poems named as "Mecmû'a-i Eş'âr" at Writing Grants Department No. 5879 in Suleymaniye Library is given with its translations and the textual criticism is made by comparing the presented poets with the available divan poetries in order to demonstrate the provision of the poetries.
