Abstract (EN)

Although the name "Divan Literature" is based on books called divan in which poets bring their poems together in a certain order, these works are not the only source from which divan literature emerges. Journals are also important sources of divan literature. One type of the journals that have various types is poetry journals. The Poetry Journal -registered in the Zühdü Bey Section of the Süleymaniye Library under number 615- which we are working on, has the characteristics of a poetry journal, although it sometimes contains prose pages in its content. This journal that was brought together by more than one composer was transferred to the Süleymaniye Libraray from the Yenikapı Mevlevihane Library. Although it contains the poems of Mevlevi poets, we named the journal, in which the features specific to Mevlevi order are not the determining factors, as Yenikapı Mevlevihanesi Poetry Journal since it was devoted to Yenikapı Mevlevihanesi and remained there for a long time. Yenikapı Mevlevihanesi Poetry Journal consists of 78 pages in total, 21 pages of which were left blank by the compositor and the texts on 3 pages of which were scribbled or deleted. The journal, which mostly contains poems by 16th and 17th century poets, also includes poems by 15th and 18th century poets. Although the poems are generally in Turkish, Arabic and Persian poems are also included. The journal we work on is an example of a mixed journal that includes poems written in different verse forms and genres, as well as the names of musical modes, poems composed in various modes, an example of calligraphy (hatt-ı şecerî), various visual poetry examples, sequential ghazals, couplets written in huruf-i muttasıla, poems containing obscenities and prose fatwa texts. The purpose of the study is to transcribe the texts in the journal and classify them according to MESTAP, and as a result, to make the journal accessible for researchers. The texts in the journal are classified according to MESTAP. The poems were scanned in relevant sources and the parts that differ from the journal are stated in the footnotes. Poems that are in the journal but not included in the poet's divan or in other works, and poems attributed to other poets in different sources are pointed out in the footnotes.
