Abstract (EN)
In this study, Cu(II), Zn(II), Ni(II) and Ca(II) complexes of asymmetric Schiff bases which were prepared by condensation of salicylaldehyde with 3-Amino-4-hydroxy-benzene sulfonic acid were synthesized. The synthesized metal complexes of asymmetric Schiff base in different pH stability was investigated by spectrophotometric method. Elemental analysis (C,H,N,S), FT-IR, UV-Vis , X-Ray, 1H-NMR and 13C-NMR techniques were used for the characterization of the synthesized ligand. The prepared Cu(II), Zn(II), Ni(II) and Ca(II) complexes of asymmetric Schiff base were characterized by AAS, melting point, magnetic susceptibility, FT-IR, and UV-vis methods. Thermal properties of the compounds were studied by TG-DTA techniques.
