The changes of design issues in Superman comics between 1938-2014

All arts affected by political, economic and cultural structures' changes throughout the world history and stil are affected. Each discipline refers these effects through the representing tools within its boundaries. Therefore comics can be read as an intersection of visual and literary arts. Comics as not quite as pictorial art and it is not limited by only one perspective; it is not as loudly and movig as cinema and it is not as texual as literature. Frame transitions constructed by the readers, voices imagined by the readers. Accordingly a reader's effect more active on the form of the history and more associated with the procreator. Comics has been changing over the political, economic and cultural structure and it has been criticizing all this structure with its own language. The relationship of various design disciplines and the design types which superheros'contact constitutes the object of this thesis. In these relationships superheros which are the most popular side of the comics will be discussed density. The origin of the superheros' history will be retraced, the "SUPERMAN" which is the birth of superhero phenomenon will be used to examine the relation which includes design disciplines and its links will be researched which related to design and architecture history.
