Abstract (EN)
In this study, superoxide dismutase (SOD) (EC 1.15.1.1) was purified from Punica granatum . For this purpose Punica granatum homogenized, cenrtifugation step, fractioned with ammonium sulphate precipitation and applied on DEAE chromatography seperation was applied Punica granatum was purified 16.60 fold in Punica granatum samples and spesific activity of enzyme in Punica granatum was found as 166 U/mg respectively.
