Increas of worldwide population density, environmental pollution and resource consumption effect negatively not only within the region we live but also ecology of our entire planet. Although several studies conducted in recent years about these problems in recent times, these problems have been considered as a whole under the discourse of sustainability. The concept of sustainability stands out in many areas such as economy, tourism, health, architecture. Natural resources and the global energy consumed by the construction sector is mainly taken into consideration, the impact of sustainable construction on the ecosystem can not be ignored. In this thesis, tried to explain what is and what is covered by the concept of sustainability, sustainable architecture and usage steel materials of sustainable buildings are indicated the environmental, economic, and social advantages. This context different international example of steel buildings examined structural systems, form - shell selection and sustainability strategies.Keywords: Steel, steel construction, sustainability, sustainable architecture,sustainable construction.
