Regional planning and touristic product formation in extension of sustainable tourism: A research on Altınoluk case

Many factors suh as increasing of people?s earnings and leisure times, installment opportunities for vacations, rapid developments in technology and some of the other factors causes increase in toursim movements in oour country and in the world. Thus, tourism sector which is developing quickly enables people to rest and spend enjoyable time by relieving them from business life tempo and stress of lifeDuring the development of tourism, natural and socio-cultural resources which are the main values of tourism can be damaged in an inexpiable way. To avoid these damages, the concepts of sustainability, sustainable development, sustainable tourism are arised in the world.The concept of sustainability means maintaining the resources not only for this generation but also for the future generation. Concerning to this, a new concept which is called tourism planning is becoming important. Planning is so necessary for tourism as the other sectors. Tourism planning is applied in five scales that are inside the region, national, regional, local and sectoral planning. It seems impossible to improve tourism goods, services, products and regions without a proper planning.Altınoluk which is mostly famous for its fresh air and spring water has many natural, historical and cultural values. With all these characteristics Altınoluk is making a huge progress on the way of being one of the most important tourism centers and tourism attractions in our country. That?s why it is obvious that it is a necessity to plan this rapid improvement of Altınoluk within the context of sustainable tourism.
