Abstract (EN)

Parallel to the world population growth, the textile industry, which is one of the key industry areas for human life, also increases production to reach the needs and the demands. This increase will undoubtedly continue exponentially as time goes on. However, profit-oriented unconscious production and unconscious consumption have brought about irreversible destruction of nature and death of living things. This situation poses a more serious threat to our world day by day. The gradual decrease in limited raw material resources makes it difficult to introduce new products, but also increases raw material prices. In this study, composite yarns were obtained with biodegradable, recycled and recyclable synthetic yarns, and woven fabrics produced with these yarns were compared with woven fabrics produced with conventional and frequently used yarns. The aim of this thesis is to support the dissemination of environmentally friendly and sustainable products both in the production phase and in the consumption phase, by demonstrating that the products produced with sustainable, environmentally friendly raw materials do not differ significantly in terms of performance and usability with the products produced with widely used and environmentally harmful raw materials.
