Investigation of geoparkes and geopark unions in the framework of sustainability: The sample of Manisa Geopark Association

Although the concept of sustainability is first examined in terms of its environment, it is used in many fields and it is gaining importance day by day. One of the best areas of sustainability within the broad sphere of influence is the geoparks; Because geoparks are established on the basis of sustainability principle and continue to be protected by this principle. The most appropriate institution to ensure sustainability is the municipality which provides the services in the closest and most effective way to the public. Targeting sustainability and sustainable development in the provision of services will be the right solution for many problems. In this study, geopark and geopark associations and Manisa Geopark Union will be examined within the framework of sustainability, sustainable development and sustainability.
