Abstract (EN)

The phenomenon of migration, which is equivalent to the history of humanity, is a situation that every nation faces in every age. The phenomenon of migration, which varies according to its reasons, has great effects on individual and social scales. These effects were manifested in many areas such as political policies, local culture, economic system and community security in the society they migrated to. Migration as a result of the events in Syria in our century has reflected these main problems on Turkish soil. With the spread of the Arab Spring movements in the Middle East countries, Syria was affected by the movements and conflicts in its political and social base caused internal conflict in the country. After this conflict, the situation turned into an international crisis with the migration of millions of people. The fact that Turkey is a border neighbor to Syria and seeing a transit country vehicle when entering European countries has caused it to host millions of asylum seekers. In this study, which deals with these problems, in which Turkey in general and Gaziantep in particular, experience the reflection of migration, the socio-cultural and socio-economic reflections of the refugees on the region in general will be discussed.
