The aim of this research is studying the marriage practices of Syrian women who came with compulsory migration. In this context, the topics of the research are how the conditions of compulsory migration effected Syrian women's marriages and in which conditions these marriages occured. In societies constructed according to traditional and religious norms like Syria, marriages confront us as mostly preferred method in the conditions of compulsory migration. Mostly, the marriages result in negatively and make different challenges for migrant women. For understanding their changing marriage structure and their marriage practice in newly settled place, interviews were done deeply with 20 women who have different ethnicity, age and income and migrated from Syria to Kilis. This study points that social gender inequality causes women to experience migration different from other groups and the difficulties that faced by women are increasing. In spite of this situation, it was observed that throughout the process of migration. Women should not be understood as victim all the time, compulsory migration changed the structure of existing marriages and some of the marriages accelerated social acceptance and integration process.
