Abstract (EN)

Considering the duration for the Syrian refugees coming to Turkey because of the civil war in Syria, entegrating has become significant. Entegration of Syrian refugees is at least as important and necessary for them as Turkey. The education of Syrian children should play the most significant role in this regard. There is nothing to lose for Turkey whatever their language, religion, race is. The aim of our country should be to make maximum use of every individual. Maths is base for studenst to have the ability to think analitically and abstractedly. With this research we aim to expose the difficulties that asylum seekers meet in the process of obtaining their acquisition of Mathmatics and to offer solutions to the problems. In the direction of the research we mentioned the concept of multicultural education and the multicultural activities applied for asylum seekers in different countries. Primary school teachers who work in schools with a high concentration of asylum seekers in Bursa were chosen as a working has taken part in this research. This research is a qualitative study and interviews were made with 13 teachers. Descriptive analysis were used while analyzing the data obtained from the research. According to the research results, second grade teachers have difficulties in teaching Syrian refugee students the most problematic issues and as a result, they show that Syrian refugee students do not fully master Turkish.
