Abstract (EN)

In this study, AA 7075 Aluminum alloy plates were joined using Friction Stir Spot Welding (FRSW) method. The AA7075 alloy used in the study is a current alloy and is used in many areas with its advantages. While welding using aluminum material chosen toward its advantages, fundamentally based on 4 parameters (tooling distance, welding time, tool cycle and tool profile) and totally for 16 samples the welding process is carried out. The mechanical properties and the microstructural properties of the weld zone were investigated in the connection areas for 16 samples obtained by FRSW. The tensile strength, micro hardness and microstructural properties of the welds were determined as a result of the analyzes. The source data of the SKNK source on AA7075 aluminum alloy is presented in this thesis. As a result of this thesis, it has been determined that process parameters play an important role on welding quality. After the welding process, it is possible to increase the welding quality in suitable combinations of speed, plunge distance and welding time. The data we obtained, is thought to be the solution to the problems encountered during the welding of friction mixing spot welding, thin section metal materials used for welding of AA7075 alloy. The problems experienced in this direction are minimized and cost, reliability, quality and so on. will contribute to the sector in many areas.
