Abstract (EN)

In the study, the effects of the proccessing parameters on the hydromechanical deep drawing which is one of the hydroforming procceses have been investigated experimentally. Erdemir 6112, AISI 304 stainless steel and copper sheet materials were used as experimental material. The experimental studies were carried out the different forming parameters and different drawing geometries such as square and cylindric. Experimental studies were realized using the hydromechanical forming device which had been designed and manufactured. The forming forces were measured using loadcells and the chamber pressure was measured accurately by the pressure transducer. The device for experiments was controlled using electronic control and data acquisition board computer control. The effect of the parameters such as drawing speed, die radius, chamber pressure and sheet material type and thickness on hydromechanical forming were experimentally investigated. It was observed that the pressure was increased drawing ratio of sheet metal when the hydromechanical deep drawing compared to the conventional drawing methods. In experimental studies, it was seen that the thickness of the product are more homogeneous compared with the conventional deep drawing and forming failure such as wrinkling decreased and the formability was affected positively. The samples which require multiple operations in the classical deep drawing procceses were formed at once in hydromechanical deep drawing method.
