Özet (EN)
Detection of cadavers, which is the main material in anatomy education, is very important. A cadaver is preserved for use in education and research of a human or animal body that has lost its vital functions. After losing its vitality, problems such as structural and formal deterioration of internal and external organs, putrefaction and loss of tension of the tissue, and hardening of the tissues occur in the cadaver. An ideal fixation solution is expected to protect tissues and organs for a long time, to provide sufficient tissue stiffness for dissection, and to preserve the natural colors of organs and tissues. Formaldehyde, besides its use in various fields, has very serious harm to human health. It is seen that various chemicals have been studied both in order to protect from the damages of formaldehyde and to develop fixation solutions that provide the desired properties. When these studies were examined, it was determined that certain common problems were observed in cadavers kept in fixation solutions without formaldehyde. These problems cause the general anatomical structure of the cadaver to change; does not allow it to be used as educational material in the long run. In this study, by developing a fixation-preservation solution (SEFS) consisting of liquid foam soap, alcohol, boric acid mixture and antiseptic (benzalkonium chloride), it is easy to prepare cadavers that do not harm human health, preserve their anatomical form for a long time and can be studied for education and research. It is aimed to reach a prepared, low-cost cadaver preparation method and to use these cadavers in dissection courses in the longer term. In the study, 28 rats were divided into 4 equal groups and used. After the cadavers were identified, samples were taken for analysis in terms of hardness and color, along with subjective evaluation at 3, 6 and 9 months. In the observational study, Group I (kept in SEFS+Bovine Gelatin SEFS solution) and II. It was determined that the groups (kept in SEFS+ Agar Agar SEFS solution) preserved their anatomical form and the loss in volume was less. When the cadavers detected in SEFS solution were compared, it was seen that Agar Agar gave more effective results than Bovine Gelatin. III. Group (SEFS+Bovine Gelatin detected in ziplock bag) and IV. Group (detected in SEFS+Agar Agar ziplock bag) It was observed that there was deterioration in colors and loss of vitality in the groups. It was determined that the cadavers kept in locked bags after dissection (Group III-IV) had more volumetric loss in organs. As a result, according to the findings obtained as a result of subjective and objective evaluations, it is seen that the right steps have been taken in terms of creating the "ideal" fixation solution.
