Effects of swastika at graphic design education as developing skills

In the research, Swastika symbol as a main shape while setting from its qualities to the students who take graphic design education and applied as emblem design work have done, and these prepared designs were evaluated according to the observation degrees at its form and effects of swastika at graphic design education as developing skills.The phase of the research is consisted of the swastika symbol and 80 students who take education from graphic design department of Ankara Finishing School between 2007-2008 academic years. The sampling of the research is consisted of the swastika symbol?s definition, history, its kind and its qualities with relevant sources and 30 students who take course in classes 1L A and 1L B of graphic design education from Ankara Finishing School Practical Arts during the 2007- 2008 academic years.In order to degree and evaluate the designs of the students according to this research an evaluation and grading scale is used. The results taken by the help of the evaluation and grading scale has been interpreted frequency by a criteria angle as ?f" and average as percentage (%).As a result of the research;1) The new and the authentic stylizations will be created by using the swastika symbol's main shape and its characteristics in evaluating the students who take graphic design education as a part of the design education especially evaluating the pictogram, emblem and logo designs, and has positive effects on developing skills while creating the designs they asked to design.2) It is observed that the new and the authentic stylizations will be created by using the swastika symbol's main shape and its characteristics who take graphic design education students, the skills of the application of suitable typographic items to the prepared design by using the suitable computer design programs could develop the characteristic properties and quality of the cited design.3) It is observed that the new and the authentic stylizations will be created by using the swastika symbol's main shape and its characteristics who take graphic design education students; it is suitable to design for print out in each size and could develop the skills of preparing in a short term period. When argued out in this context it helps positively the students to create the new designs in asked quality, time and adequacy by using the swastika symbol.Suggestions claimed by the researcher depending on the result of the research are also included in.
