Abstract (EN)

Today, the drugs that are used to relieve the pain and inflammation are categorized into two groups as narcotic analgesics and nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory. However, narcotic analgesics are not preferred because of their side effects. The other group that is called NSAI drugs, because they don't have narcotic side effects, are used commonly for treatment of pain, fever and inflammation. Besides, these drugs are used for the long term treatments for such diseases as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and other rheumatic diseases. However, on the long term use of these drugs, it is observed that they have some side effects such as gastrointestinal bleeding, gastric ulcer and disorder of kidney function. Because of these side effects it is needed to synthesize more effective compounds. In this research, flurbiprofen, commonly used NSAI drug, was used as starting substance. The triazole and its derivatives have various biological activities such as antimicrobial, antiviral, analgesic, anticancer and anti-tumor. 1,2,4 triazole derivatives 12a-12t compounds that have flurbiprofen structure were synthesized considering the activities of triazole and derivatives. Most of these synthesized compounds show anti-inflammatory and analgesic activities. The structures of the compounds that show activities are confirmed by 1H-NMR, 13C-APT, HMS and IR spectrums. To sum up, a possible biological active and an ideal NSAI drugs were synthesized and propose to the literature. Keywords: Flurbiprofen, triazole, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, analgesic, cyclooxygenase
