A new family of Szász-Mirakyan operators

One of the most recognized area in mathematical analysis is lineer positive operators. In this research area introducing a new operators and presenting their approximation properties are quite significant. In this work, a new family of Szász-Mirakyan type operators are presented and examined their approximation properties. In more detailed, in this thesis, the first chapter is reserved for the introduction and information about the historical process of convergence theory is given. In the second part, the definitions and theorems used in the thesis are given. In the third part, the modified Szász-Mirakyan operators are mentioned and the approximation properties and speed are examined. In the last part, the conclusion part is included.
