Abstract (EN)
Our study consists of an introduction and four chapters. In the introduction, we have given brief information about Aishah's life and books written on her, and the way Tabari treated Aishah's narrations and the Qur'anic verses which were reported by Aishah herself. In the first chapter, we aimed to determine the way Aishah followed in the commentary of Qur'an by giving special emphasis upon her commmenting of the Qur'an by the Qur'an and the Sunnat, and again her commenting by reasoning and finally, her narrations about asbâb al- nuzûl, stories and the Qur'anic recitation (Qira'ah) In the second chapter, we examined the narrations on general subjects and women. The third chapter includes narrations concerning the ProphetMuhammad himself. And finally, the fourth chapter is about the subjects which were narrated by Aishah. We established, in this study, that Aishah has three hundred and twenty-eight narrations in the Commentary of Tabari. We noticed the differentions between these narrations. We examined Aishah's metod in commenting the Qur'an and tried to show with the examples that she was one of the leading commentators of the Qur'an.
