Abstract (EN)
Courseware are the instructional products which reveal when, how and in whichorder the computers are going to do the activities during the computer based instruction.However, the quality of these products can only be a result of cooperation ofcomputer experts and instruction experts. In other word, the cooperation ofexperimental scientists and social scientists on this subject is the most important agentto ensure the quality.In this research, the courseware used in in-service instructional activities inTADOC (Turkish Academy Against Drug and Organised Crime), are evaluated basedon ?the mativation principles related with message conception in instruction? whichbrought up by Keller and Burgman. The survey papers are filled out by 100 policeofficers who joined in-service training activities in Ankara and 9 expert instrustors fromÇukurova University Education Faculty Computer and Instructional TechnologiesDepartmant. As a result it was found out that, these courseware have a good level aboutimproving interest, hardness level, forming necessity, possitive results and effects andmotivational features.Key words: Computer Based Instruction, Courseware, Motivation, n-serviceTraining, Police Training.
