Abstract (EN)

The general purpose of the grinding process is to provide the production of processed material in expected sensitivity and surface quality. It is necessary to product the combination of the parameters reasonably because of grinding is the last process in the machining or it provides a good transition to the next process. Recently, the effect of cutting parameters has an important role in the industrial area. In this study, the effect of cutting parameters on the mean surface roughness, vibration and material removal rate were investigated in the process of AISI 8620 cementation steel via tangential cylindrical grinding method by using Taguchi 's design method. Different levels of depth of cut, axial feed rate, wheel speed and workpiece speed parameters were used as cutting parameters. In addition, the obtained experimental results were evaluated statistically by using ANOVA variance analysis method and Minitab 15 software. The performed experiment Show that the tangential cylindrical grinding method has a lot of advantages over the conventional cylindrical grinding method.
