The practice of subjects handled by Tâhir B. Aşûr in i̇ntroduction of his commentary work named Et-Tahrîr ve'T-Tenvîr

Tunisian scholar Tahir b. Âşûr, one of the last period's mufassirs and thinkers, has published works on various branches of Islamic sciences. The most voluminous of these works with regard to scope and content is his tafsir named "et-Tahrîr ve't-Tenvîr". The subjects of Ulûmu'l-Kuran which mufassir has dealth with in the preface of this work includes the topics that could not become distanced for who want to specialize. Mufessir has not neglected the evaluations of the previous scholars on these issues and he has also classified them and added to the issues he deemed incomplete in the field. The thesis work named '' The Practice of Subjects Handled by Tâhir b. Âşûr in İntroduction of His Commentary Work Named et-Tahrîr ve't-Tenvîr'' consists of introduction, two parts and conclusion. In the introduction section, informations about the subject, importance and sources of the research has been given. İn the first part, the life, works, of mufassir, general features of his tafsir, and preliminaries of tafsir has been expressed. In the second part it has been tried to put forward Ulûmu'l-Kuran subjects which he has dealt with in his preliminary and how he has applied in practice the rules which which mufassir restrict in his tafsir. In the conclusion, the achievements obtained in the study have been presented as a summary and the thesis has been completed by making suggestions.
