Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to prepare a strategy for reconstruction in syria after war and Disaster, through analysis and utilization of global experiences and theoretical materials, in order to be based on scientific and strategic principles that take into account all the components of the urban environment, working to understand the disaster and its causes, directing reconstruction to be part of the development plans and upgrading the reality for the better, and the preservation of history and heritage and identity, and achieves the elements of sustainability in the reconstruction projects. Wars and armed conflicts are among the most important threats to social, cultural and economic structures. The political systems of the countries are also affected by them and therefore cause damage at all levels. Perhaps urban and architectural damage is the living record of the destruction left by wars and armed conflicts, and at the forefront is the destruction of architecture and urbanism, representing the memory and identity of this community, particularly the destruction of the community. Inheritance architecture, which often includes different types of buildings that depict the characteristics of human activities in different periods.From history and each type of these buildings has a special nature that imposes a different way of dealing with it, and this is the building, its historical value, and present abilities. Based on this, in this research, we tend to think about how to reconstruct the exposed buildings. Vandalism and destruction caused by wars and armed conflict as a symbolic value, this research will focus on presenting theoretical concepts related to reconstruction after wars and disasters, as well as examining the different aspects and possibilities of rebuilding buildings. The practice in the old city of Aleppo, following some Arab and Western cases, those affected by human disasters where these trends are applied. As an attempt to prepare a preliminary study for reconstruction in cities that are already subject to destruction and degradation due to events occurring in our region in general, and in historical cities in particular.
