Abstract (EN)

The existence of the human, who is the microcosm, in the macrocosm has been tried to be defined in many ways by thinkers, especially from the natural scientific, theological and philosophical perspectives. The basic thought of Takiyettin Mengüşoğlu, who is accepted as the founder of Philosophical Anthropology in Turkey, is that human; It is of the opinion that it will be explained on the basis of ontologically based, holistic and scientific data. By ignoring the metaphysical side of man, he tries to explain it in an onto-epistemological context. He is of the opinion that the ultimate thing that separates human beings from other living things, unlike them, can be analyzed by considering the 'human-animal' phenomenon opposition. In this study, while examining Mengüşoğlu's Philosophy of Human and human existence conditions, it is tried to criticize the view that the analyzed and described existence can reflect reality as a result of each existence condition becoming the basis of each other. It is a basic condition of existence for man to have the ability to abstract and to strive to know beyond matter. Limiting human over phenomena and ignoring the metaphysical (spirit) field; Trying to explain only materialist-centered creates a deficiency in defining human. Due to the ontology view that has no metaphysics in the philosophical anthropology work of our thinker, an incomplete definition of human emerges.
