Abstract (EN)

In the research, it is examined whether the paradoxical leadership has a regulatory role on stress, with the effect of political support and political will in the ongoing work pattern among managers and employees operating in some provinces (Ankara, Erzincan, Sivas, Istanbul, Izmir) in the transportation sector. Within the scope of the research, the data of 61 managerial personnel and 335 working personnel were obtained by questionnaire method on the internet. Common method variance was used in the study. Managers and employees were handled as team members and divided into two groups, and the split group technique was used. We also used bootstrapping method to estimate the situational effects of the leader's political support and political will between the paradoxical leadership and stress level at the team level to test the current hypotheses of our research. All independent variables were considered as large mean-centered in the analyses. As a result of the research analysis, it has been determined that the manager's political will and political support, evaluated by the manager, have a moderating role in the relationship between the paradoxical leadership style of the manager evaluated by the employees and the stress level of the team evaluated by the employee.
