Abstract (EN)

In this study, the risk analysis of a company operating in the metal sector has been performed by using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis(FMEA) method and the risks that may arise in this field have been shown, prevented or reduced. System was examined and insecure behaviors were determined with Behaviour Based Safety System. FMEA and Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) methods were used to evaluate insecure behaviors. A different approach was presented to evaluate the hazards by combining the number of Risk Priority Number (RPN) obtained with FMEA and the scores obtained with AHP. The three most important dangerous behaviors obtained with this approach were determined as pensiveness, fast moving and manual separation of the sawdust from the machine. As a result of this study, important dangers that we may face in metal sector and suggestions for preventing them are presented. Key Words: FMEA, Behavior Based Safety, Risk Analysis, Metal Industry, AHP
